I loved that series. There was a hit by Schenn I think on Cooke, right as he came on the ice Cooke went after him and Schenn dropped him. It was hilarious, but I can't find it.

Not a fan of the Flyers, but I would not mind having Hartnell on the B's.
That being said, it was hilarious during Flyers/Rangers 24/7, Hartnell telling Malkin he is the ugliest guy in the league. Hilarious!

I didn't really know about kockey until 83-84 when my buddy got cable. Being from PA, I became an instant fan of the Flyers and watched a handful of games over a few seasons just before pelle lindbergh was killed. My buddy moved away, but I got cable in 87 and began to follow the Pens... yeah, big pens and flyers fan here.

@PLYMCO. I have almost given up on hockey entirely. Since the salery cap, its not even the same game and is just enforced mediocrity. Should a team really be penalized for having way too good of a team? I don't think so. If you can't afford to run your team and sign good players, sell the team to somebody who can. I am sure there are more than a few billionaires who would have no problem doing a better job.
I have been a Wings fan my entire life and that didn't start in 1997. I loved my Detroit team all through the 80's as a kid even though they had a less than great team. In the 90's I loved the AV's as well even though they were a hated team here after the Claude Lemeiux cheap shot on Chris Draper as well as our 96 loss. It was a great rivalry and so exciting to watch every year. That Colorado lineup was amazing as was Dallas.
This crap is only good for the owners and bad for the sport. This is not Football and the reason they established a cap was to turn the sport into a handicapped horse race designed to produce a completely random result every year to increase betting action.
If bad owners cannot put a good team on the ice year after year, they deserve to go out of Business. It's not fair to good run organizations and dragging excellent teams back to the pack so bad teams can sell tickets is complete BS.
