I clocked in around 100 hours. The bulk of the time was spent leveling up familiars to morph them for the 250 familiar trophy. I spent 15 hours or so dedicated to farming Scrolls of Truth, Kaleidestones and at the same time leveling the familiars. I also spent about 10 hours in the casino, which isn't really required, but it was fun. You will need about 375,000 guilders to buy the tokens you'll need to buy the movie tickets in the R.I.P. room of the casino for that trophy (but you can easily save, buy the tickets, get the trophy, reload and work on the 500,000g trophy.)

Expect a good 80-90 hours for the Plat.

for Mad Scientist did you actually have to make 150 DIFFERENT things via alchemy, or just 150 things?

150 different things seems crazy, since quite a few items require rare items, and i hate grinding for rare items. :smileysad:

That`s why I have stopped playing the game, at least for now, it takes a very long time to get the rare items needed, even with the increased rare item drop rate merit. (although I did manage to steal a scroll of truth on my first try, but the creature who you can steal from seem to be a rarer spawn. I only ran into 3, got 1 scroll of truth, and it took awhile to get 3. That`s with running into encounters, as it takes longer for them to spawn as leader.)

Game is just incredible.  Definately worth getting, and definately worth the money.  Not overly far in it, but i've almost stopped playing everything else just because i get so wrapped up in this game.  But i'd say a good 17ish hours into the game, and not even close to being bored with it like other rpgs i've played.

At about 40 hours into the game so far, I'm currently in the mountain town/city of Perdida. It seems as if the game may be nearing its end soon. My guess is that there's at least another 20 hours to go for the story.

Well, I completed the Trials of the Sages, and can now tame, and evolve familiars, which is pretty cool. It looks like my next stop is the second part of the demo.
