Good wheel settings for shift

6 replies 25 views Edited Jul 10, 2010

I was wondering because for me it is impossible to drive shift with a wheel. Its too easy to turn. I like my wheel to feel heavy so anybody got suggestions to make it heavier?

I had problems with the wheel always counteracting the car, causing it to fishtail constantly. So, what I did was this and I really like it:

- Reduce Force-Feedback to 7

- Raise the steering sensitivity to 75%

- reduced both the gas and brake dead zones to 0

Everything else I kept the default. I really like it now, I think raising the steering sensitivity (not the speed-steering sensitivity, I left that one alone) keeps you from having to turn so much, making it (to me) heavier but more controllable.

Hope this helps.
