i'd love to have a cat but i prefer not to have one.

for a number of reasons i dont think a pet would be very happy in my flat: i live on the ground floor for example and i couldnt leave it outside when im out. so it wouldnt go out very much.

so, because i love animals i prefer not to have any at the moment

I had one of those, much smaller and all black though, when I had an aquarium. They're very useful for keeping the water and glass clean of bacteria.

I understand where your coming from, but I also live in an apartment (3rd floor) and Misty (temporary name lol) is a very happy indoors kitty

I don't call my kitty a "kid" or consider her my "daughter" lol But I sometimes carry her in my arms like a baby and I rock her too sleep like if I were singing a lullaby to her, especially when she's soooo sleepy that she becomes sooo mellow and cute! I love her to bits when she does that
