Can't believe Arrested Development was not mentioned. You people have made a huge mistake. +1 for Community, but ehh it's gotten too "loose". Might get cancelled after this season, considering that's it's now on a delayed airing and only 13 episodes on the Friday deathslot.
Anyways, I'm don't like laugh-track comedies, so I tend to avoid those.
(on its final season, season 1-6 on Netflix, very funny)
(BEST comedy ever. It was cancelled after 3 seasons, revival is in production, new episodes on Netflix next spring)
(season 4 starts on Nov 2 - had a rough season last year)
(cancelled after two seasons, but hilarious)
-Better Off Ted
(ran for two seasons, funny, but may differ)
-Freaks and Geeks
(funny, dramatic and heartrending -- I'm almost finished with it)
-Parks and Recreation
(seasons 1-4 are on Netflix. Season 5 is on air)
-The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret
(funny to see him fail)
(the series is on break right now, so catch up while you can!)
(better than Family Guy)
(anime - Amazing. Even if you may not be a fan of anime, this show has a wonderful cast of characters and action, mixed with amazing stories to tell. It has nearly 600 episodes, so might not be your cup of tea if you have little time, but it's well worth it. The true successor to Dragon Ball).
(anime - Amazing. L is a badass. Very intense and has a very creative way of playing with your mind. It's about a high school student finding a notebook that allows him to kill anyone if he writes their real name down - about 37 episodes)
(anime - getting into the "ugh" space, but Bleach is actually a good anime... so long as you stop at episode 63. Continuing past episode 63 is murder because it seriously turns into BLECH).
