After MP started to give 80710092 errors, I deleted the stored game files, reset the modem, check everything etc. etc. and trying to restart the game.
Result, download stuck on %0, I tried to change DNS servers, several times, some caused 80710092, some stuck on 0%.
I am fed up with it. Seriously, I paid for system, I paid for the game but I can't play.
UC3 is an excellent game, but in fact whoever causing this network hickups (or comas) is not worthy of his salt as an engineer.
So was there ever any resolve to this issue. I haven't played it for a while, went to go on, notified of 1.15 patch to install. After numerous attempts, restarting modem, router, PS3, deleting all save and patch files on PS3, all I get is the wonderful 80710723 error. Sure would be nice if I could get an answer. I have been hopping around different forums trying to find anything. Nothing for resolve.
