Re: Time Attack: What have you been working on?

Sep 5, 2010

This morning I decided to learn the Big Rig on the Rift. After about an hour I ended up with a 1:16.92. It's the highest Rig on the Any board. :smileytongue:

I also got a 55.70 on RGS Big Rig starting on the right side of the big pole at the start line. I'm sure someone with more skill then me could challenge tiky's time coming from that side. lol

Wow Gravity, that is a very nice Rig time on The Rift.  Great job!

Mudslide top 5 TA times are with the ATV.

So, why 2 laps world record there with ATV is "just" 1.59.63 by optimusprime? lool

Thanks, I went back and Improved The Rift Rig to 1:16.61, Cirrus is the only one standing in my way as usual. This time I think I can actually catch him though, lol!

I also tackled Caldera Ridge Rig and got a 52.86. Getting away from ta and the rig I ran a 3:41.01 on CC ATV offline 2 lapper. :smileytongue:

Next thursday will be my last day studying lool. Final exam in college to finish my graduation in Economics (to become, like elixus said: graduated and unemployed lol).

So, with much more time, i'm gonna do the final assault to improve my 54th place on Fastest Laptimes for All Vehicles per Track on Original Tracks

Wish me luck to both, exam and TA attempts

Nothing that impressive, but I'm back in the top 100 again for Riptide. It seemed pretty easy as well, I might aim for top 50 even.

Re: Time Attack: What have you been working on?

I have been working on my worst tracks/combos (weaknesses):

1- Scorched (Big Rig, Mudplugger): 1.25.88/1.26.21

2- Badlands (Big Rig): 1.47.08

3- Sugar Rush (Racing Truck): 1.03.57

4- The Edge (Big Rig): 1.10.01

...and there's no way of improving it lool.

I'm guessing that i need some youtube guide like Cirrus's Beachcomber Guide for The Edge and Badlands because the problem here is the 1st split. I don't know how to do the warmup lap

For Badlands just go around like normal until the large jump over a lava river. Max boost over it so you land without bouncing and then save all the way up the hill. I *think* it's the second last sign of those small arrows on the hill where I start boosting. Well I actually start a little bit before that and I'm usually just about to max when I cross the line. That's just what I do and it's worked fairly well for me.

And for the Edge there is no 2nd lap start... and if there is it doesn't seem to make much of a difference.
