Re: Razorback Demo hitting the PS Store soon?????

Just played the demo.  Nothing different as far as I can tell.  It has the graphical and slight physics improvements that the full release received when compared to the original demo, I'll give it that.  It contains 3 vehicles.  The monster truck and the bike are still the same, but the Patriot Rodeo was removed and replaced with the Wombat Beachmaster buggy.  Played and placed first, which always makes me happy, so it doesn't seem like the difficulty for the demo didn't get set any higher. :smileyvery-happy:!

For those wanting to give it a try still, look up the Motorstorm Pacific Rift game and download the demo from its folder.  It won't be in new releases.  The description is wrong, however, since it still says that the demo contains Raingod Spires, while in truth, it has Razorback.  Personally I wouldn't have realized that it was the new demo, if I didn't notice that the size for the new demo was slightly larger than the older demo.

Re: Razorback Demo hitting the PS Store soon?????

An unconfirmed rumor:

The new demo will mimic an online event where:

 1. You cross the finish line first and come in 7st.

 2. Racers appear and disappear, causing you to go from from 2nd place to 8th place and every place in between for a matter of two seconds.

 3. Racers come from nowhere behind you faster than the speed of light, knock you sideways, vanish, and then appear ahead of you for a second until it races out of sight.

 4. You have clear sight, plenty of boost, and then blow up for no reason.

 5. You'll go to start the demo but have to press "continue" after being told the "Match Making Server didn't find squat for you"

 6. After playing the demo 20 times you'll actually win a new Trophy called "Trojan" for being able to take anything the developers throw at you. The orignal name was "Sucker" but it didn't survive market testing.

TTT -  the demo appears correctly in the EU store, in the latest releases, and under the title "Pacific Rift Demo 2.0" - with no mention of Raingod anywhere, and with a reference to the map having been chosen by the community.
