Motorstorm Community Night - October 24th

Hey guys.

Well I know we had mixed reactions to a Motorstorm Night idea and I get that. Being a stormer' I can understand your frustration. So here is my first attempt at making a night of fun.

We will be playing generally anything you guys want with whatever you want. It's all for fun.

We will of course be playing Motorstorm Apocalypse and since I know this is not everyone's cup of tea I ask you to PLEASE not turn this into a hate fest. If you do not want to play, that is fine and I totally understand, but if you have hate to spout please keep it to yourself.

We will be racing Wednesday the 24th at 5pm PST 8pm EST. If you have some changes you want to bring up please do so.

What I would be hating on is if the whole world was made to operate like this. ie, if you don't like something, then you have no freedom of speech to expess yourself. The whole planet would be a dictatorship.

Thankfully there are plenty of other places where I can b#tch and troll.

Unfortunately, Brrnout, I can't see this getting any acitivty....... well definitely not here anyway. I'm probably safe in the assumption that the entire Motorstorm franchise is nothing less than dead.

I am not telling you to not express yourself, I was just asking for you to not rage here as this event was designed for fun and constant complaining is not my idea of fun.

As for no activity, perhaps that may be true. But if I do not try then who is to know I am pretty sure not everyone hates the game. Otherwise no one would be online.

I completely agree with you, Lewis. It's no coincidence that in the last 3 or 4 days the only post I've even see is Cirrus' follow up to his thread....and joban also posted his last videos. That's it. I've never seen it so dead.

Well to be fair, the forums have been broken this past week and a bit, not allowing users to click on any thread, page, reply button, post submit button ... anything. The only way I could view pages was by right-clicking on something, then choosing, "Open in a new tab" ... but it seems to be back in working order now.

I would definitely join this, but I can only make these events either evening Fridays or weekends. However, you might want post this on the facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/groups/motorstorm.series/) you might get a better showing of people. Not everybody hates the Apocalypse game. I know it has it's flaws, but it is still a good game. To be quite honest, I'm actually seeing more online activity lately.

You were experiencing that too, Chris? I thought I was the only one. Everything worked fine with firefox but yeah, I had that exact issue with safari.
