It says NAT type 1.
And I can't port foward, unfortunately. Not due to lack of skill, but due to the fact that I'm in a university owned aparment, and thus it's their routers in use, which I have no access to besides regular usage.
So basically I'm screwed?
I'm afraid you might be, i was in university and their router blocked most servers due to that fact the internet would be so over used so i had the same prob as u. just one question, can you play online with proper ps3 games? if not then its the uni,

Hate to double post, but I'd really like to know if there's a way to fix this.
im sorry, maybe its a port issue? the router of university doesnt allow ports for that kind of game, tbh i dont honestly know then if you can play online with other games but not AD hoc party. do you detect your psp first on AD hoc party menu?

If we're fast enough in turning on our PSPs when we get into the room, yes it gets detected. Usually we're not, it typically gives us the arror after we're in the room for maybe 20 seconds. As I said, it's not all of Adhoc Party either, I can join other people's rooms fine.
