So I purchased the PS3 Trilogy for Mass Effect with the goal of making all the choices I wanted follow through to other games, as having my Xbox 360 saves wouldn't upload to the next game, etc. Here is my issue:
I stupidly romanced Liara to the point where I can no longer romance Kaiden, which was actually my goal. It had been many years since I played the first one and I was romancing them both, so I was expecting that cut scene where you have to choose, but that never happened. It went straight to romancing Liara and I lost my relationship with Kaiden. Unfortunately, the point where this happened was so long ago now that I cannot go back.
So here's my question. How will this affect the other two games? Will this significantly affect my relationship with Kaiden in ME2 and ME3 or will there just be a few conversions that go differently. How drastic is this? I REALLY do not want to start 40 hours of gameplay over again...
Thanks for your help!
I think there may be a cutscene glitch for the ps3 version. I was playing and I had to choose between Ash/ and Liara and It would not let me choose (as in the little dialogue initiator bubble thing wasn't working); everything in the 'briefing room' disappeared shortly after.
I believe Kaiden reacts the same as Ash on Horizon (me2). However, I hear he's much, much nicer than Ash in me3 about the whole 'working for Cerberus' thing. A few of the conversations with Liara will change if you continue your realtionship via LotSB (mainly when you first meet on Mars) but I do not recall Ash/Kaiden really commenting or caring.
Hope this helps.
