I've been playing ME 1 and the story within the game is much better than the comic version we originally received with ME 2. It also seems that much of the detail was left out of the comic......
I'm glad that we finally have the opportunity to play it and will be replaying the other 2 games after I finish this playthrough.
Anyone else feel the same way?
I have replayed ME1 twice so far and it is by far my favorite. Well the second one is my favorite. ME3 would be my favorite but the ending still scars the whole experience for me. I feel my connection with the squadmates are closer. I mean getting to meet Tali from the beginning gives me a new prospective on her character, She turn out to be one my side kicks most of my first playthrough.
I can understand why Ashley is such a **bleep** or a racist against aliens, since I was able to talk to her more in depth. Meeting her in the second made her look like **bleep**.
ME1 does a lot of things that the second one and the 3rd one failed to do. I felt the planet exploring was awesome. Somehow this idea dropped when Mass Effect 3 came along.
I would think they could of had us do rescue missions by landing on the planet and helping any survivors out and then they would help us in the final fight?
I enjoy all three of them but I can't get past the whole ending of three and even with the extented cut, it just feels like a letdown for all those hours played.
My ending would of consisted of destroying all the reapers but sparring the Geth and Edi. I just hope that they consider adding an alternate ending where Shepard lives. I am still hoping that last breath ending is the true ending! I feel wrong on controlling the reapers or synthesizing myself into all life. I still feel that destroying the reapers is the best choice. I just hate the fact that it destroys the Geth and Edi.

I believe that this is the best game series I've played on PS3......I know there are other great games but the Mass effect series but the story and how it all weaves together.
By far ME2 was my favorite and ME 1 is creeping up there. I just wish that the choices we made throughout 2 and 3 really had meaning and effected the ending. I also think that the multiplayer and other games(Andriod and Apple) should not have impacted the way 3 ended.
Have you tried playing the game as a Female Shepard? It gives you some different scenarios and the relationships in 2 and 3 are quite interesting.
