I am considering restarting the game with the same character however I have a question about it. I know that when you reset you keep your level and weapons etc. However I have searched and I cannot find a clear cut answer. When you restart your character do you keep your paragon/renegade standing or does it reset? 

I want to play as the same character but make different choices and have him be a paragon rather than renegade like he was in the first playthrough so I am hoping it resets.

Sorry if this has been asked/answered before but I have searched quite a bit and would be more assured if I got a solid answer here.

You are in luck it resets.    I usually just start over with a new character if I want to make new moral choices but you are free to make your own choices with your Shephard.
