 Moving Parallel/Diagonal Targets.

Tracking the target with the sight is usually where people go completely wrong on this and miss the shot entirely.

The trick is to usually aim around the space in which the running targets elbow/knees are pulling forward as they run, aiming here will usually give you the best damage output per shot and is a larger and easier target to track than the head.   "

I read the original post in its entirety but not all the replies so I don't know if this was mentioned but....

I am fairly certain that in MAG if you were to use the last tier sniper rifle you will miss fairly consistently or at least not get many kills if you shoot at their limbs regardless of the speed they are running parallel to your view at.  If you want to spray & pray ( that's what we called this   " noob spraying "  a decade ago on ZIPPER's first online masterpiece                 ' SOCOM ' ) it might work for the semi-auto sniper rifles but I am fairly certain that with a sniper rifle you are supposed to fire when the area you trying to hit enters or is in your cross hairs, not before or after. If you want to try and kill another player by shooting them in the limbs that could work, I have never tried it though, at least not when I had a perfectly good head or body shot. I am not sure but when you are ' scoped in ' or in MAG holding L1 with a sniper rifle I believe your first shot tends to go  where your  cross hairs actually are.

This is more of a technical question we would have to ask ZIPPER about .  There are many technical points conditional to MAG that make certain ' techniques ' used in other games invalid, like the ability to use a knife, stay scoped in while moving in prone position, throw grenades while in motion or the fact that health isn't  finite etc...

Great post

Of course Snipers don't count, you hit what the Dot is on. I thought this would be common sense.

Re: Tips on becoming a better First Person Shooter.

I dunno how I got used to this but I can somehow calculate when my opponent will die. I killed an enemy and reloaded at the millisecond when he dropped. This is the only game I have experienced this. Maybe because of instincts?

Re: Tips on becoming a better First Person Shooter.

these are good tips from a good player, however he was probably MAG's number one troll. The guy just couldn't stop trolling, it was insane. It is like he had no idea when to stop, i think he got banned for telling some female player to make a sandwhich.  Bye!
