Ok I planned on just waiting for Madden 13 since Madden 11 was holding me over, but when I saw Madden 12 for $15 I couldn't pass it up. I put it in, and started playing on all-pro since that is what I typically enjoy playing. Well I've made it through a season of franchise, and I feel like this game is actually insulting. It's claimed to be "true to the game" but that couldn't be farther from the truth. My offensive line (or the other teams for that matter) couldn't pick up a blitz at all. Even when the other team doesn't send a blitz my way, I have a DE closing in on me in two seconds. Considering I even manage to get enough time to throw the ball, it is either swatted or intercepted when I do get to throw it. If I do mange to get the ball to my reciever they get hit, and no one can hold the ball after contact. It seems impossible to get past any defense. Even Steve Smith can't shake a corner. I feel the running game has improved since a good running back isn't practically guaranteed to juke the first guy his way, and the spin move isn't the perfect move anymore, but that is two of the few positive things I have to say about the game.
...Maybe I just suck, I don't know.
Anyways, I'd like to get opinions from you all too.
