After reading through many post it seems like a lot of the go-to games are pretty current releases.
But my gaming comfort food is old school:
Galga - Ahhh... The epitome of a shooter, visceral sound effects and addictive music, not to mention you can play it lefty or righty and can easily find it at any pizza parlour.
Cannon Fodder - Ahead of it's time in it's control scheme, very similair to a lot of PC click and point slashers like Diablo, except you take control of a platoon of soldiers. The blood and gore is graphically portrayed in a surealisticly cute fashion.
Well, alot of my games are online, so when the servers go down on all my favorites I turn to single player. So, yes, I do have a "Go-To Game".
My "Go-To" game in most likely NCAA Football 2007, why? Well, Ive always been a big football fan even in the off-season. You could see me playing this game in March. I do like basketball, but football is better. I will get a game going and try new things and new plays. Sub in players that I dont use much and so on. I would practice my throwing, running, and kicking in "Practice" mode.
It is safe to say NCAA Football 2007 is my "Go-To" game.
I would probably have to say Madden '07. The reason is because I get bored with my other games quick now (for some reason), and I'm a big football fan. I normally play franchise, and go with different teams after I beat the superbowl. Right now I just happen to be using the Bears.
I'm noticing a lot of people saying "right now" when referring to the "go-to" game... shouldn't a go-to game be something that doesn't really change often? Otherwise its just a game you're playing on and off.
