Will there be a digital release?

My 120gb PS3 will not play blu ray discs so I'm left with "hoping" that the games I want will be released digitally. MLB The show is one of my all time favorite franchises dating back to 98. Has there been any word on a digital copy of the game hitting PSN. The PS3 version, not the Vita.

I still haven't found read anything about it. Since it's coming up soon, you'd think we'd hear something.
