I shrugged off the platinum for this game a long time ago (retail beta).  I've always accepted the fact that I would probably never platinum any shooter on the ps3. Why? Ive always been, until last summer, a pc gamer. The analogs just dont come naturally to me as it does a lot of people that have been on a PS since the PS1. To this day, I'm still not a great aimer in FPS games because of the analogs, but I stay afloat. When retail rolled out and I saw the requirements for the combat sidearm ribbon, I lkew then and there I would probably never platinum this game. LoL

(thats not to say I dont try though! I may get the plat someday) I have 12 PLats, and none of them are shooters.

I have the platinum, but got it after the ribbon/medal changes made

Got Platinum on 9/27. (520 hrs. on main ID)

Disclaimers:

Did not acheive 1000 Turret Gun Kills (Currently at 450+ requirement will probably be lowered in the future)

Did not acheive 250 Vehicle Kils (Currently at 70+ doubtful I will complete as it is a waste of time/assets)

Did not acheive 100 AA's destroyed (Currently at 70+ and will complete)

Did not acheive Armchair General Ribbon (Only Ribbon I do not have and will probably complete)

Did not acheive 100% of PSN Trophies

(Currently at 92% as I do not have the Interdiction Road Runner Trophy and since it is unplayable due to low player counts, will probably not acheive it.)
