For those of us who don't lag, we have to have those skill points to allow us to 2 hit knife someone.Without them the knife is actually deactivated and no matter how much you try, you won't kill someone with a knife.

thanks for asking that, wasnt sure myself but, tried it out and kills went up by 10-15 easy.  also does it still work with the improved sprint speed in skill tree maxed?

Yes you can. Its called shoot them then knife them.

You could just not even attemp to knife anyone, thats my tactic and its always worked out well enough.

I know how bad the knife is without skills, and tbh it's almost as bad with them so what's the point?

point of the knife skills is to stay completely invisible.  you still show up if you shoot your gun and grenades and claymores aren't unlimited.

 

as long as i'm only knifing, the person has to physically see me before i'm in any danger.
