SO i want to know , to some people that say that Killers are the most important thing and a K/D ratio is by far more important than any other stats,so im a bad player?
I have a K/D ratio of 1.72 at the moment.
about 46000+ kills and 24000/25000 deaths,so this is not moving for a long time.....
Now this stats dont even reflect my actual K-D cuz i have a lil brother that used to play with my account a lot, pretty much to die all the time.I'm not a person that is really interested in stats(if i was,i could just delete my character and start from 0 like lots of people did ,and will never admit it, lol).
Now when i play sabo i get 30+ kills 15- deaths .On domi 45+ kills 20- deaths. I revive,heal,repair ,take objectives,use all weapons effectively,snipe, follow orders,i have over 600 MVP's, etc...
I think K-D ratio is overrated , why? Well for a start it reflects the kills and deaths of a player EVEN while he was a noob, and not all of us deleted our first character .....I may have 1.72 but i have a weekly 2.0+ K/D ratio.
I would say weekly K-D ratio is more precise. It reflects the ACTUAL players K-D ratio.
The fact that a player has a low K/D ratio doesnt mean he hasn't improved.Of course im not denying the fact effective killers are the best kind of player in MAG,i will say it does not give you the right to treat other people like trash....
So, i have a K-D 1.72 so im bad?
EDIT=
K-D ratio also doesnt reflect:
The enemies you are up against,(depending on the time for example,i always have to play with japanese guys)
The people you are playing with,(its hard enough to get kills while getting shot in the back by a teammate, looking at you valor)
If you play with a clan,if your clan is good you obviously will have more wins and killing will be easier since you have your back covered.
And many other things that may vary a K-D ratio....
EDIT=
BTW this is a post regarding the importance of the K-D ratio, not if im good or not.Had to add this cuz i forgot there a retards roaming around XD

One question; are you helping the team win?

Before I vetted to Valor my weekly K/D stayed around 2.*. In my eyes anything above 1.25 means you're capable of doing serious damage at any given time. I've witnessed players with a sub 1.0 KDR string together some monster kill streaks. You're fine.

Real question because this is not COD of BFBC should be.
Am I helping my team and did I have fun in that last match?

Some will say yes, others will say no.
I say **bleep** them all and just play...
Agreed, its not like i give a *beep* about stats, just hate it when you are treated like nothing ,just cuz your K-D ratio, then play with one of them and you even get more kills and experience than them.Iulz.....

That means you kill more than you die. To me that means your helping the team in some way.
MAG is about more than just KDR though.

The best MAG players are the ones who do all of this while getting a lot of kills. I think total kills matters a little more than KDR, I would take the guy who went 50-20 instead of the guy who went 30-8 (there are exceptions to this).
NOTE: You usually won't get a lot of kills if you're dying every second.
