I hear ya, MAG is fun but after a while it does get boring. We definately do need some map packs.

Re: MAG 2

We Don't need a Mag2, we just need a developer who is willing to support Mag.

Re: MAG 2

Never gonna happen Sony disbanded Zipper and drove MAG into the ground through lack of advertising at launch. If you are looking for something similar I'd recommend giving dust a shot just realize its not the same as MAG.

Re: MAG 2

Definetly need a mag 2, one that includes all of the old maps, and like 15 more (5 per faction) with more game modes, an offline bots mode so you can learn all of the nooks and crannies of the maps, and a story/ career mode. I know zipper has bit the dust, but sony owns the rights to mag, and could assign another developer to a sequel. I wish they would soon, i have a checklist of everything mag did right and wrong and what the sequel needs.

Re: MAG 2

LOL will not happen ... Sony wanted a COD killer and that didn't happen... so yeah even tho MAG made money Sony's souless management will NEVER green light another MAG game.

Re: MAG 2

It's a shame, too, because it's actually the only fps that I've enjoyed playing since the original Goldeneye. And as someone who remembers the sheer magnitude of players it had at the start, Mag 2 would seem like a no-brainer.

Re: MAG 2

I hope they get around to a second one, I think a dev with more FPS experience than Zipper had (which I think was very little), such as Guerrilla Games, could make an even better sequel, not that I didn't like the first game back when I was playing it.

Something tells me that Guerrilla doesn't want to drop Killzone any time soon though, and Zipper getting shut down won't exactly inspire anyone else to try taking up their previous projects.
