While I have said that the game appears to be crap in other threads, I didn't say it here.

The joke - in case you missed it - was that Dust514 is Justin Bieber, while the players who frequent this message board are the little girls who scream excitedly when they see Justin Bieber.

It's hype, overrated, exaggerated, etc. It's silly.

No, from what I've seen and read, it doesn't appear to be a great game at all.

The game in its current state isn't exactly a great game but the developers are not going to abandon the game like zipper did with mag. 

The new build seems to cater to casuals to much while the old build felt like more of a strafe and shoot fps. If they take the aim assist and slow movement route I will more then likely not touch the game after release. Only time will tell I guess.

LOL Dust 514 has the potential to be great... I and a lot of my friends are in the beta and it still has a long way to go. However, it has the potential to be every bit as satisfying as MAG due to its deep leveling system and the progression used to unlock weapons and skills. I wouldn't write it off just yet. I don't think anything will capture the Magic of MAG though it was the first game to do combat this way and undoubtedly will go down as a classic Titan amoung more generic FPS's
