Is it possible to get insight into how Mag handles so many players at once when it comes to networking? Is there some kind of 'lod' system in place where far-off players are only updated every couple of seconds or so?
I see videos with 128 players in one area and the game seems to be running fine still: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H_FEbTO8udg
I have the same question about how the graphics engine handles that as well. A 'normal game' would hit a drastic curve where the framerate is halved for evertime the player count doubles on screen (super simplified example) but it seems like Mag crunches large groups efficiently with performance staying more or less the same with them close by or not.
I would love for some insight into this.

Hey guys
Fantastic game, been playing since day one. Figured i'd give this podcast question shoot a go !
I was wondering, When you made interdiction and while you're current within the upcoming release date of Escalation, who decides to give the "go ahead" on the idea?
also on a side note
In future game maps or modes.. may we see more urban maps coming out? I personally think fighting inside buildings for a whole round would be sweet. Like a whole city block or something, or a large strip mall.
Thanks guys!

How can you compare MAG happy hour to a bar or a clubs happy hour? Last time I checked you can't get kicked from a bar or a club due to "connection error". I was so ticked when I heard that. Seriously **bleep**!?

To sort of give a comparison point for the question about the Happy Hour. You can't stop time in RL, so an Hour is an Hour.
Use it wisely.
On a related note, About the blog post picture: There better be a limit, because I'd be fired within the week. I have a bit of a weakness for soda
, and Chocolate Milk for that matter. (Me and My family drink a ridiculous amount of Milk per week...)
