If I get sniped while I'm sniping, I typically start abandoning other easier targets and focus on my counterparts, especially in Domination and Sabotage. Truthfully, the anti-sniper role is just as important to winning as troop support. If you didn't play the beta, though, get ready for some serious spawn camping by snipers in Escalation. On at least two of the maps, some of the spawn points are visible to a sniper with the variable scope from an extremely long distance. Yes, smoke and gas grenades make it difficult to see at those kind of distances, but once you get hang of knowing precisely where certain spawn points are, hitting a newly spawned target becomes child's play. Hopefully they'll change the maps to make it more difficult before Escalation is released.
