You can get a PS2 for around $50 on eBay.
I wouldn't get a BC PS3, I've heard that they can be really expensive and apparently they have problems.

It's probably because of money issues. Like some people don't want to shell out $500 total for two systems or don't have the money.

He doesn't have to buy them both at once. He could buy a PS2 now, and a PS3 later.
He wants a PS3 for games that aren't even out yet... (Last Gaurdian, KH3, Shadow of the Colossus (Assuming he's refering to the remake).
He'll have plenty of time to save up for a PS3. I don't see a reason for him not to get both. =/
If it really is money issues, then go for a PS2 it's cheaper, and the games aren't as expensive.

Nah, it's actually going to be a sequel to Coded / Re:Coded. I believe the secret ending in Re:Coded makes some hints for KH:3D. 3D is still a tentative title, so it should change eventually.

hey, this goes with the end of page 1, i got a psp 3001 with bbs, a dslite with gba ver of chain of memories, 358/2 days, re:coded, & kh1 on my ps2. i say, get a backwards compatible ps3, they may be exspensive, but you can store music, pic, videos, & download games & play online through psn. the ps2
lays games in disk only format & gets internet. no harddrive. [lus, if you have a ps3 & a psp, you can hook them up & use remote play. (cant play ps2 games on remote play tho) i hooked my psp up to my cousins ps3, it is like a computer, it stores everything you want & so does your psp. ps2 isnt that good anymore.
