Killzone 3

I have a Samsung 3D UN55C8000 TV. I start my game, and go to the 3D options, and KZ3 wont detect my 3D TV.

I then enable the 3D manually on the TV then try again, and KZ3 still wont detect it.

Is there something i have to do to get this thing to work? Thanks

I could not get Gran Turismo to connect to 3D.  Even though my samsung plasma is 720 hd I still had to go through the display settings on my ps3 and select 1080 and then enter the size of the tv.  Worked for me.  Good luck.

im having problems also with that. i started it and the game would not start it says no 3d tv detected. i tried it again a different day and it worked i dont know why. keep flickering thru different options i guess.

another thing i have to warn u guys about is the 3d crashing your ps3 make sure you make a backup of all your game saves right now. i have 3 tvs and 2 ps3s so i switch them around alot. i only have one 3d tv, if i play a game in 3d on a tv then try to play it in another room the game will be black and i cant play it it becomes useless, this is where th eproblem starts you cant turn it off so you have to shut it off from the back when i turned it back on mys ystem file was damage and had to reformat, lost over 300 gigs. so beware when your switching things around with 3d. black ops and high velocity bowling have both done this to me

Is your HDMI cable compatible with 3D?

Did you try reseting the video output? you need to hold down the power button down until it beeps (when turning it on)

I have the same TV and I don't have a problem with 3D.  Are you running your HDMI through a 3D capable receiver? 

I guess a big question would be, have you used PS3 for 3D on anything before and had any problems??  Do you have the 3D enabled on the TV?  In the options I think you can turn it off. 

ALSO, I just fired it back up again, and it didn't tell me that it recognized the 3D TV either..  I just had to go into the options of the game itself and turn the 3D on.  You HAVE to do it before playing the game.  You can't do it while in game..  gotta go to the title screen and turn it on. 

Now that I think about it, COD:Black Ops was the same for me.  It didn't auto start with 3D.  I had to change it in the game settings.

yeah. Its a Monster cable. It had the 3D, 1080p Logo on it.

The Samsung LED 55UN8000 can convert any 2D picture to 3D. Thats done just by switching the 3D mode on. But it doesnt give it the in-depth quality as if the PS3 would do it for itself- that is, if the PS3 could detect my TV as a 3D TV.

I have not played any other 3D game. I have seen 3D movies though.
