I wish I could just "rely" or let my team do the work, but ninety-five percent of the games I have played since launch have proven my team is full of tards. (o.o) Always! I still manage to lose a few rounds too. Bah!
Which brings me to another point of subject. Engineers! Would it fuggin' kill ya' to be smart fix ammo crates, and place a sentry bot in the TSP's?! Would it?! Geezus.. Just place one in the back and I garuntee it would help keep the TSP's. Never fails though. Every round I'm playing fuggin' hot potato.. Sucks arse! I expect bad play from morons abusing marksman and infiltrator classes. Not one of the team three.
Team three: Tactician - Engineer - Medic
Ps. When the hell is the tactician going to get a pay increase? Fifty points is chump change! Even the tard that is the infiltrator gets paid more then we do, and his job is easiest. Set bomb, defuse bomb.. Make **** loads of points, and get rewarded for being a total ***** running around with an idenity crisis. Ugh..
.. Peace!
I also remember a time when people had some brain-power in this game...Oh wait, no I dont!
By the way, the Tact/Medic have got to be my two favorite classes in the game! Easy-to-use weapons, your own personal robot slaves AND these classes can be real Game-changers IMO.

I agree Leuko. Though I hate being killed by marksman, and I find them pretty useless as a class under normal Warzone circumstances I do enjoy using the class when my team has no chance of victory. It's great to be able to be so stealthy, and have such lethality at any range (with double primary VC32 and StA52).
BTW. Leuko I think we'd be a good match in a squad. I'll be home from university for break this week, with my headset. I'll be spamming you with invites, don't be rude

This is not true. It all depends on how you play the class. I guard Search & Destroy targets, propaganda speakers, block choke points, defend assassination targets and capture and hold areas. I move around a lot as well so I'm no stationary sniper.

As with all classes, it's all about how you play. The Marksman can be very useful for guarding the S&D objectives and the S&R return points, for not getting killed in Bodycount, and for assassinating the target from a long range if he's still out in the open. Marksmen are also useful toward the objectives indirectly; examples include (a) killing engineers repairing WASPs and miniguns (and any enemy players trying to use them) to protect their allies from a rain of WASP rockets or bullets, (b) protecting captured TSAs from enemy Tacticians trying to neutralize or capture them (or, if the TSA has already been captured by the other team, he can kill several enemies spawning there in order to help a friendly Tactician capture the TSA without getting killed in the process), (c) hiding a concentrated attack from appearing on radar with Scramble, etc.
Last night I helped my team win S&D defend in Turbine Concourse (the other team had all the TSAs at the time) by killing several enemies while cloaked using my M66 machine pistol. I also killed a sniper who was killing some of my allies from a spot near the minigun -- that would be hard to do unless invisible (otherwise the sniper probably would have found and killed me by the time I found him). One enemy player was trying to set a charge when I killed him. Of course, they can't see you so it's easier to stay alive and guard the S&D objectives. Eventually they managed to set both charges, but I was able to kill the last enemy in the area while cloaked and then defuse one of the charges.
Marksmen can help on S&D offense, too. If a charge is set then the Marksman can cloak and watch the set charge(s) for any enemy trying to defuse them. I use that trick all the time on Pyrrhus Rise as a Scout, and in that way I've helped my team win dozens of S&D missions by killing one or more enemies trying to defuse a charge.
Similarly (though less effectively) the Marksman can guard the S&R return points. As with S&D, enemy players will be too busy trying to complete the objective to search for a cloaked Marksman as thoroughly as needed, so the Marksman can often kill several enemy players in the area or surprise an enemy player carrying the speaker.
Of course, a Marksman can just camp in a spot far away from the objectives and make himself "useless" for completing those objectives. That's not how the Marksman is meant to be played, though, and it's no different than any other class whose abilities aren't being used toward the objectives.
As you point out, playing as a Marksman is great when your team is losing badly since you are more difficult to find and kill. You can get a decent number of kills that way and save some of your team's dignity.

Not to defend him, or anything (because, I am not.) Besides he can defend himself, but it just sounds like he took to the saying:
"When in Rome; do as the Romans do."
So, as much as it makes him look like a hypocrite in this case it's more on purpose, and intentional. I think it's more like he's trying to show a point though.
Anyway. Carry on.

Definitely! Although I usually play KZ3 pretty late, 12-4 AM PST. So unless you are a late night gamer, we probably won't be playing together much.

Oh and thanks for the 1 star rating, you are so pathetic
For someone who is extremely well known to bithc and complain about everything in every FPS on the market, its just too ironic that you are now jumping on the bandwagon, and now making a thread bragging about it. Even tho you even go to explain that you have expressed your complete and unsatisfactory stand point on the marksman issue.
