KILLZONE3.. Could have been awsome. As it stands it feels like GG rushed it out just to apease fans, and SONY since SONY seemed so, adamant on making it the flagship of 3D gaming, and the pinacle of Move gaming with FPS in mind as they release the "sharpshooter". The game as a whole is several large steps back from what GG brough to the table just a couple of years ago with KILLZONE2. The sales don't lie, and the game speaks for itself.
On that note. I think KILLZONE3 offers a number of pros, and tweeks I thought should have been in KILLZONE2, but you cannot blindly deny that this game has w-a-y too many faults, and shortcomings. The magic is there in this game, but GG again is commiting seppuku with this game.
I doubt we'll see a KILLZONE4 or another canon filler for years. I heard they mean to take up a new series in the mean time anyway. So, as it stands KILLZONE will be put on a back burer and set to simmer, or in another case left to die very slowly with that stomach wound. (o.o)
Dulun, said it best yesterday. -- Best of KILLZONE2 + Best of KILLZONE3 = Ultimate KILLZONE -- Well, lack of better words, but yeah. KILLZONE2 is still by far the better KILLZONE (overall.) Which is a shame.
Call me a hater, or not, but maybe I just want to have the best KILLZONE we can have. This is not that KILLZONE unfortunetly.
If Killzone 3 is awesome or not is really a moot question due to the fact that people are highly subjective in their opinion. Is Killzone 3 an improvement over the previous game(s) in the franchise is the real question. I would say no.
