Ahhh that's where the thread was, I had mentioned it but didn't look for it.

The SA80 does have some similarities, thats for sure, but I still think the M82 is more like a TAR-21/M-16 hybrid though.

And yes I know these are M4s not M16s but its hard to find pics of an M16 with all this nice stuff. lol

Well I really looks more like the TAR.

Also the m-16 and m-4 are the same gun. the m-4 is just a lighter version

Well it's the like the back end of the TAR mixed with the front end of the M-16. Yes though, your right, the M-4 is the same basic weapon as the M-16, just the M-4 is a carbine and the M-16 is a proper assault rifle. I say that the M82 more closely resembles the front of an m-16 in styling along with a metallic rail guard. Also, it's overall bulk is more indictive of a proper AR rather than a carbine, though it seems too short in KZ2 and now it's more like a carbine than an AR anyway. Wow, I think that sounds really confusing now. lol

Anyone see the Future Weapons episode with the Beowulf .50 Cal AR? I see, the scope he had on it made it look so similar to an M82-G it was crazy.
