What was Assault mode?
Also some of those death animations in Killzone 1 looks smoother/cooler than Killzone 2's. I dunno which vid, but this dude shotty'd someone and he did a back flip in the air lol

Huh? The death animations in KZ1 was one of the graphically weakest aspects of the game, they were puny 5 frame animations.
Assault in KZ1 was like SnD, only instead of planting charges, you just shoot at the objects until it blows up. The objects had huge health bars.
Defend and Destroy was the same, only both teams had objects to defend....basically, double SnD.
In KZL, Assault was almost exactly the same as KZ2 SnD, except there were three C4 charges to plant instead of 2, and you couldn't disarm them. So when you got the third one, it counted down from 4 and blew up. Also, ISA was ALWAYS the defending team and Helghast were ALWAYS the attacking team.

I think it would be cool if they add this mode in DLC, as for maps I want to see Airfield and the Trenches.

If it's half KZL maps and half KZ2 maps, I wanna see Beachhead and Canyon crossing from KZ1. From KZL, I wanna see Air Field and Trenches.
^^^ this. Park Terminal was, in my opinion, the very best map in KZ1. No comparison. I would also like to see a 3-D kick ass version of Airfield. That was the best map in KZ:L.
I suggested to the Mods that they should run a poll on what maps to see in the retro pack. I wish they would run it.
