I think Modern Warfare 2 will put Killzone 2 in a tight spot, only then KZ2's MP can show what it's really made of, but I think everything will be just fine up until the release of MW 2.

I dunno it really depends on if MW2 can deliver. If it has the M16 again I'm not buying it. I got to Gold Cross top 2000 in the world but that gun is BS and I will not play another one of those where noobs can't point press R1 once, and rack up kills.

Since Infinity Ward is developing it I'm pretty sure it will deliver, and even exceed our expectations, but I don't think that they would exclude the m16 from the game.

Not if the servers never go up

Seriously. I just wish we had an idea of when the servers would be going up so I could take a nap in the meantime. I'd be pretty PO'ed if I lived in EU right now.

It's 9AM in Amsterdam, I bet the people who bought the game in Europe are foaming at the mouth right now and probably angry that the servers aren't up.

The M16 was sick, as was the G3...but the RPD with GRIP was my 10+ KDR machine, now that **bleep** was OP.

Its a shame there arent more single fire guns in this game, Id gladly take a semi auto over a full auto if its much more precise/powerfull. Hopefully the STA-14 will pwn.

I doubt MW2 will have the clan support KZ2 has and that will go a long way for the people who love to compete.

I would be. I can understand not opening the servers early, but come on, it's the official release day in EU, what gives?

Oh, and sorry for being off-topic OP. I've been sitting on these damn forums for probably a good 5 hours now for updates and any thread about the servers get locked.

You nailed it, KZ2 will have lasting appeal simply becasue it has in game clan support. That will keep a game going long after new games come just look at BF2.

Lol I am so tired of Infinity Ward as$ kissers, WaW is a fantastic game and Treyarch did a wonderful job. I actually have more fun playing it, and it does have about 4 times the players online MW does.. but MW is pretty old.

Anyways, yeah I think it will last.. I will buy MW2 but eventually will jump back to Killzone 2. Just like I will play KZ2 for awhile then jump back to Metal Gear Online.

Depends on how good the multiplayer modes are but with Modern Warfare 2 coming out its going to be close.
