Jak and Daxter

82 replies 820 views Edited Nov 17, 2012

So I just started playing the Jak and Daxter collection and I'm loving it so far! The first one was pretty easy though left much to be desired story-wise; there's still so much I didn't know about their world besides eco, eco, eco! I just started playing Jak II and I'm having a blast with that! I remember WAAAY back in the day when I was subscribed to a video game magazine and around the time Jak II came out, there was an illustration on the page like this:

Jak and Daxter + Grand Theft Auto III = Jak II.

And even now, so many years later, I can still see they pretty much nailed it!

Anyway, I'm having a blast with Jak II. I wonder why people say it's not that good, or at least, compared to the first one.

Jak 2 and 3 are both like GTA styled free roam. I like Jak and Daxter: Precursor Legacy the best.

I actually recently got the collection too! My favorite though was Jak 3, to me imo Jak and Daxter felt a bit repetitive and Jak 2 is a less better version of Jak 3. Still they're all good.

Jak and Daxter felt more unique and more of a platformer than the other games IMO. Jak 2 and 3 felt like more of a GTA styled free roam
Jak and Daxter game.

I liked Jak 1 and 3. I hated 2 though.

Good to hear man. Glad we have some *ACTUAL* people who are sitting down and playing the game and in order to. If your having fun with Jak II, youll love Jak 3!

I just wish you didnt add in that GTA part though. Only 20% of the game is GTZ while the rest is still Jak and Daxter though Smiley Happy

Anyways have some more fun and enjoy!
