Is J&D: The Lost Frontier considered cannon?

I'm writing a story on Fanfiction.net and I'm wondering if the 4th game in the series (which i haven't played yet) would be considered cannon in your eyes?

Canon, yes. Proper sequel, hell no. I consider it as a worthy enough sequel to the first game . It doesnt stand up to Jak II or 3 well at all.

Don't you mean, a chapter within Jak & Daxter 1?

No I meant a sequel. If this game was made after Jak TPl or was aimed at that it would have been a great game but still bad as well. Just re-read my first comment if you dont get what I mean to understand me.

Yes, The Lost Frontier is canon, although there were some...oddities throughout the game (I'm looking at you, Dark Daxter). The game wasn't fantastic, but it's not as bad as people make it out to be. It was a fun little handheld game that did what it was supposed to do, provide an interesting adventure starring our heroes. It wasn't the best executed title, but I won't take away some of the advances it made story wise.

Mainly the role of eco in the world, and how it was running out. That, and it was interesting to see the story give a bit more focus onto Keira.

Hell no. The game was made by High Impact, the same makers or Ratchet and Clank: Size Matters.

They are known for let downs, and the game is a piece of crap.

Dark Daxter, more character changes, and Kiera becoming a sage.... makes me shudder just thinking about it. I didn't even finish the game it was that wierd.

I would consider Jak X canon before Lost Frontier
