If you were/are a father, would you do the trials?

1) Would you drive against traffic for five min.?

2) Would you crawl through a broken glass tunnel THEN move through electrical condensers?

3) Would you cut off a finger/pinky/thumb?

4) Would you kill someone else?

5) Would you give your life? Poison is actually real

I admit that I wouldn't. Would you?

Re: If you were/are a father, would you do the trials?

That would all depend on the situation, I would think. Instead of the Oragami Killer, it could be a less clever evil that has taken your boy. Someone like say... the mailman. Within the hour the crook is caught and locked up. Your child is safe again and you probably wouldn't have had to jump through all those hoops to get your kid back.

Yeah... real life isn't always as exhilarating as it is in video games.

But you have no idea who the killer is and the police are helpless. There's a note in the box that your son will be shot dead if the police are told anything.

Now...?

Re: If you were/are a father, would you do the trials?

As said, it all depends on the situation. With Heavy Rain you're already given a set of options in this 'choose your own adventure'-style game. In reality, I suppose you can try to piece together the puzzle yourself. You'd have to try and think who would want to harm you or your child. The letter says don't tell the police... but, it never stated anything about the FBI.

1) I'd do that just for the hell of it!
2) Hell no

3) Of course not!

4) That all depends on the situation. Most of the time it will be yes

5) No way! Suicide is UNACCEPTABLE!!

I am a father of 2, and I would do anything I had to do to keep my kids alive.

Re: If you were/are a father, would you do the trials?

I'm not a father, just an uncle. But I am really close to my niece and nephew and would try to do something to get them back if they were kidnapped. I probably wouldn't do any of those things though. Maybe cut off my finger or drink the poison, but that's it. I wouldn't want to put anyone else at risk by driving against traffic. I don't think I could kill anyone, plus if I did it would make me a murderer and I wouldn't be able to see the kids again anyways if I went to prison. Maybe I could crawl through a tunnel full of broken glass, but not walk through electical condensers. I would more than likely just take the package to the police so they could inspect it for clues or what not.

Re: If you were/are a father, would you do the trials?

I would probaby do a few of the trials that doesn't involve me cutting off my finger at all, and then once I get the first two clues as to where the location of my son is, I'll try and decipher it right away, and try and pinpoint exactly where he's located by simply tipping of law enforcement and having a few people help me as well.
