That's what I want to know too, I'm guessing that you must have to because other wise Ethan won't get to the kiss with Madison and you won't be able to forgive her, (unless there is another way for Ethan to be freed).

I'm thinking, free him with Jayden and then get him arrested the second time, but I want to make sure this is correct before spending all the time doing so.....

...if what I just said is the correct way to do Perfect Crime, you won't get the trial master trophy as you will be in custody when you should be completing the Rat.

Just a message for everyone. To get this trophy you have to follow all the requirments (which someone posted earlier in this forum) and you have to start from Hassan's shop and play all the way to the end from there. No chapter skipping. Also let Ethan get arrested in Fugitive and help him escape with Ethan. In On the Lose let Ethan escape after doing the doing with Madison lol. What I thought was really confusing about this trophy is the name of it. Its called Perfect Crime which meas you get away with it and no one knows who did the crime. I did that the first time, let all of the characters die by Shelby's hand and let Shaun die. Scott went unpunished. That wasn't the right way though. Instead you have to save Shaun with Ethan and the two live happily. Plus people knew Scott did it...**bleep**. Thats not a perfect crime.

Just to make sure I get it right for the trophy, what happens to Ethan and Shaun because everyone else is dead?

I have a simple question, can I let madison die at doc's and norman die at madjacks to get this trophy or does it not work that way? I heard madison dies at the killers apartment and norman at the warehouse?

I have the perfect crime trophy but I did not get the "New Start" epilogue????? someone please help    I recieved the other three epilogues associated with this ending except for the new start

Okay, well heres something i have to ask.

i just did manfred's shop, wiped up every print, and even went over to the glass case and checked it and it wouldn't let me wipe it, so i assumed that there were no prints. Then, the scene ended, and it went to black, it didn't show me ANY prints or anything, so i was like "YES! SWEET!" then... I'm In the police station with Shelby!!!! Now i don't know whether or not just to start my whole replaythrough over again, or if i will get the trophy. And if i don't can i just go back to the Manfred scene at chapter select and play through from there? or will i need to start from hassan's shop ALL OVER AGAIN?

If you go for "Perfect Crime", can you go back and achieve the other trophies by playing the chapters individually?

I believe that's the way you're supposed to do it:

This reflects the ideal turnout for the Origami Killer, usually meaning the worst-case scenario for everybody else. Specifically, do the following:

• Hassan dies in Hassan's Shop (by Scott hiding in the back until the robber shoots and then flees).
• Ethan is jailed both times (in Fugitive and again in On the Loose).
• At Manfred's shop, wipe away all the prints at the following places: the white telephone in the back office, the black telephone at the curved front counter, the two whiskey glasses, the tall whiskey bottle, the magnifying glass, the music box held by Lauren, the glass-top counter directly in front of the main door (if Lauren has leaned on it shortly after entering at the beginning), and the main door itself. (Also wipe the bathroom area if it's been used.) If all the fingerprints are successfully removed, Scott and Lauren won't be automatically brought to the police station in the following scenes.
• Madison dies in The Doc.
• Norman dies in Mad Jack.
• Lauren dies in Trapped.
• Mr. Kramer dies in Face to Face (after Scott wins the gunfight).

I am glad to see this.  I ended up getting arrested, because I could never find the prints there.
