But honestly, I completed the drawing, helped with the groceries and setting the table, and played with the kids. (Letting the kid beat me on purpose). I don't know if it matters or not to get the trophy.

I came here to check if it was a glitch and apparently people had problems.

I did the whole drawing, signed it. Put the plates down and played with the kids, I put Shawn down early and beat Jason and I still didn't get it. I went back to the main menu after Father and Son loaded and pressed Continue on it and while the game loaded, showing Ethan's face, I got it...

I finished the picture signing it, put the dishes down carefully carried the groceries in played with the kids I've done it THREE times and still no trophy

The third time I didn't put the kids down early and I still didn't get the trophy

I read another forum that said to quit the Father and Son chapter and then reload it again. I did that and the Happy Birthday trophy popped up.

It finally unlocked when I just played throught the game, it popped at the beginning of the second chapter!
