PSN Helldivers Challenge Group

 

For those wishing to take on new or existiing Helldiving challenges in a friendly environment, feel free to join the Helldivers Challenge Group.

Just message me (PSN ID: wilier) and I can add you asap!

 

Normally, players will use the "PSN Messages" iOS/android app or message from their PS3/PS4 to gather other players for a challenge or casual helldive.

 

 

Please feel free to suggest new challenges and I will include in this thread!

 

 

Existing Challenges

 

1) Random Loadout Challenge

Creator: @vanemiera

Use the amazing random loadout generator and fight with whatever you are given. A true test of improvisation and skill.

2) Taking the Pistols Challenge

Creator: @wilier

 Pistols only. Each player uses a diffferent Pistol, and the 4th player who uses P-2 'Peacemaker' can use whatever Perk they want (so far people have picked one of the Perk Grenades for obvious benefits). Each person allowed a different backpack while remaining 3 stratagem slots must be all Ammo Resupply. People are allowed to use special stratagems like Reinforce, Sniffer, Hellbomb, etc.

 

 

3) Naked Suppressor Challenge

Creator: @wilier

Suppressors only. Each player takes 1 Vindicator + 3 Ammo Resupply, and Stratagem Priority perk.

Pistols only used if player downed or carrying briefcase.
Objective: 3 stars on Hell Dive difficulty(level 12) difficulty.
Warning: close proximity usage of explosive ammunition can be potentially hazardous to limbs and general wellbeing.

 

 

4) Heavy One Armed Challenge

Challenge Requirements

  • Hell Dive (level 12) difficulty
  • Normal Mission or Retaliatory Strike
  • Any one of the 3 enemy factions
  • All players must use Heavy Armor Perk
  • All players must use One-Handed Primary Weapons

Challenge Restrictions

  • No Mechs, Vehicles, or Turrets allowed
  • No Distractor Beacon or Tesla Tower allowed
  • No two players may use the same Primary Weapon within team
  • No two players may use the same Support Weapon within team
  • No two players may use the same backpack item within team at the same time
  • No single player may equip more than 1 of the same Stratagem
  • Full team may not equip more than 2 of the same Stratagem
  • A Normal mission must have minimum of 3 objectives as fail-able objectives and they shouldn't all be same type of fail-able objective to qualify
  • Once started, all 5 steps of Perform Geological Survey must be completed without leaving area.
  • No cheats of any kind (no dialing macros, no base game modifiers, no clones to drop extra gear, no quit/rejoin, nothing of the sort).

Clarifications

  • Even if LIFT-850 comes with two with 1 Stratagem, only 1 may be used by anyone on team at any given time.
  • Even if SH-32 or Resupply Pack can drop two with 1 Stratagem, only 1 may be used by anyone on team at any given time.
  • Even if a Recoilless Rifle and Commando are both used, only 1 Supply Kit may be used by anyone on team at any given time.
  • Fail-able objective for purpose of this challenge only include Escort Survivors, Escort Convoy, Activate and Defend Launchpad, and Perform Geological Survey.

Victory Conditions

  • Completion of Normal or Retaliatory Strike Mission
  • Positive Score (see below)

Scoring / Ranking

  • No special score bonus based on Enemy Faction
  • No special score bonus based on Terrain type
  • Normal Mission base score: 12
  • Retaliatory Strike base score: 24
  • For Normal, each fail-able objective completed after first 3: +1
  • For RS, for each 100 total kills after first 300 scored: +1
  • Each death on team: -1
  • Each accidental on team: -1
  • Each Star lost: -12
  • Each additional member on team (i.e. not counting host): +1 (solo/2p much easier than 3-4 players)
  • The sum total minus score from deaths on team and losing low deaths star is capped at: -12

5) Default Loadout Challenge

Limit your loadout selection to the default gear. 6) Famine Challenge

Creator: @cusman 

Must use non-Laser and non-Arc Primary, and cannot use Resupply or Resupply Pack stratagems.

You are allowed to use scattered Resupply found during mission.

Limit loadout to only consumable Stratagems, so something like Vindicator or Shredder is allowed because it has a count, while something like Railcannon Strike or EAT-17 is not because those are unlimited use. No Distractor Beacons allowed. AT Mech / Vehicles / Turret not allowed. Get creative, use ammo, and Stratagems sparingly.. Doing this challenge is all about honing your fight or flight instincts. It should also teach teams which enemies to ignore, and which to target with priority.

 

7) Slow Snow Challenge

Enemy Masters or Helldive levels on Snow without All Terrain Boots, Vehicles or Jump Packs

 

 8) Solo Retaliatory Strike Challenge

Creator: @cusman

For the exceptionally skilled, suicidal Helldivers that have no friends...

 

9) Mortar Slaughter Challenge

Use only Mortars and Grenades.

Only use Rumblers.

Stratagems - 4 x Resupply.

Perk - Cardio Accelerator or Perk Grenades.

 

10) Packing Big Supplies Challenge

Creator: @Jippijaijou

Every diver takes only Resupply Packs meaning that antitank is limited to eight per diver. Precision Call-In perk (or Cardio Accelerator if unavailable) so it takes only two seconds to land. Every diver takes SAME Primary; pistols allowed. Recommended primary: Railgun or SMGs for stun so it’s easier to hit with the Resupply.

 

11) Hammer Time Challenge

Creator: @cusman

All players must use Hammer to move between objectives and keep at least one Hammer in play during all objectives.

At least one Hammer must be left standing at time you board Extraction Shuttle.

Bring as many Hammers as you need and you are allowed to heal, but you must not travel between objectives without using Hammer, and you must replenish lost Hammers to have at least one on the field before completing objectives. The better the team and their proficiency with using Hammer and not shooting each other's Hammers dead, the less stratagem slots they will need to dedicate to replenishing lost Hammers.

 

12) "It's raining Hell, hallelujah!" Challenge

Creator: @cusman

Complete a Hell Dive without firing any shots.

You may only use Stratagems to handle all situations.

Zero shots fired for all team members at mission completion.

No Distractor Beacons allowed!

 

13) Primary School Challenge

Creator: @ealirendur

All players copy host's Primary weapon (but the following are banned: trident, sickle, breaker, justice and patriot).

All players copy host's Perk.

Each player must bring only one type of a Red stratagem.

The only Green or Blue stratagems allowed are Resupply, Resupply Backpack, UAV, SH-32, SH-20, Angel and Lift-850.

 

14) Obliterate Baller Challenge

All players use Obliterator as only weapon (You may use pistol only if downed)

Grenades allowed.

Banned items: manned turret/mechs/vehicles.

 

15) Scientific Survey Challenge

Creator: @TheLethalDiva

A team of civilian scientists find themselves ambushed on a hostile planet... mildly overweight from too much time in the laboratory, the scientists must use their big brains and civilian-issue, ceremonial Constitutions to escape!

 

All scientists have Heavy Armor Perk and Constitutions.

Science team leader carries a UAV, Flamethrower, APC, and Resupply.

Other scientists carry a Drone (Angel or Guard Dog), Stun Mine, Rep-80, and Resupply.

 

16) High Score Retaliation Challenge

Play a Hell Dive Retaliatory Strike and go for as high score as your team can manage. Don't just extract after 400 kills. Go for over 1000

 

17) Kamikaze Challenge

For the really masochistic helldivers out there! * No area denial stratagems

* No distractor beacons * No anti tank stratagems or anti tank secondary weapon * No stun weapons, mines or grenades * Heavy armour perk

* Backpack items allowed, but cannot be duplicated Anything else goes! 😜

 

18) Waterloo Weekend Challenge

Only perks allowed are Incendiary Grenades and P-6 Gunslinger If P-6 Gunslinger pers isn't used, no use of sidearm is allowed Only primary weapon allowed is Constitution Only stratagems allowed are Resupply, Barbed wire and Thunderer barrage

 

Upon dropping into a new game, a sentence "The Guard dies and does not surrender!" must be said into voicechat or written into text chat Bonus internet points to anyone who convinces Arrowhead to bind F5 to "Merde!"

 

The medals, awards and merits you can earn in this most noble and DEMOCRATIC! endeavour are: Absolute Anachronist Award - your in-game avatar is female Grenadier of the Old Guard - use grenades only and complete a Dive of difficulty 9+ I want a saber - use bayonet and stratagems only and complete a Dive of difficulty 9+ Proud Prussians of IV Corps - all Divers in a non-pre-made game are participating in this challenge Wellington's lament - run right into a one-shot kill attack when you're trying to bayonet something I heard Russian winters are the place to be - complete a difficulty 12 cyborg Dive on a snow planet without using Resupply

 

Should you complete this challenge and/or be warded any of the abovementioned medals, your reward shall be a warm feeling on the inside (that may or may not be a result of bug poison or borg flamethrower) and bragging rights for ever more.

 

19) Warlord Walk-a-thon Funraiser Challenge (UPDATED)

Objective: 3-Star a cyborg helldive, babysitting Admiral Lee's favorite pet Warlord, Fluffy, safely through the entire mission.

 

Memo from Admiral Lee:

Attention, Helldiver grunts! I want you to take my darling Fluffy on his daily stroll.

- After gearing up, immediately whistle until Fluffy appears.

- He loves to watch ALL the objectives being completed.

- Make sure Fluffy gets to run around freely (no static fields, static mines or barbed wire).

- He is easily frightened by anything hi-tech, so don't use any machines or devices near him!

- Don't worry, Fluffy is perfectly friendly... you won't be needing any protection.

- Keep my little cuddles safe from the cyborg scum. If Fluffy dies, don't even think about returning to Super Earth!!!

 

Rules:

- Perk - Any Perk Grenade (stun/smoke/incendiary).

- No area denial or auto attacking stratagems (static field, static mine, barbed wire, incendiary wall, tesla tower, turret).

- No hi-tech machines (rep80, angel, guard dog, shields, jump pack, distractor beacon, NUX decoy spam, or vehicles/mech).

 

20) The 2 of 4 Challenge

A Helldiving team is a powerful force. The 4 person team is perfectly suited for dispatching a flood of enemies coming from all sides. What happens when a helldiver dies and that breaks down? Things often go down the tubes -- FAST!

Helldivers scales the number of enemies based on the number of players. So, can you handle more than your fair share? Let's find out with The 2 of 4 challenge.

 

Objective: Dive in to level 12 planet with 4 logged in controllers but only 2 actual players. The extra 2 Helldivers must be killed each time they respawn. Attain 2 stars on the mission by limiting deaths to 12 or fewer (including the deaths of the uncontrolled helldivers) and completing all objectives (third star would be impossible unless you're able to revive the uncontrolled divers and get them on the shuttle at the end -- BONUS POINTS!)

 

Rules: No distractor beacons, AT-47 stationary turrets, vehicles or mechs.

Level 1: Extra helldivers may be used to drop secondary weapons and/or backpack items at the beginning of the mission before being killed. This frees up a couple strategem slots for the main 2 person unit.

Level 2: Extra helldivers may not be used for gear muling.

 

21) Old School Challenge

Gunslinger, Constitution & ammo (excluding resupply backpack) This anachronistic Helldiver can't get used to all this fancy tech' and weaponry the modern helldiver uses nowadays, he just wants his old faithfull Constitution, his trusty six shooter and lots of bullets. Obviously only like minded Helldivers would dive with someone this stubborn and outdated. Note: Objective specific strats supplied by Super Earth for a specific mission will only be used for the purpose of completing that objective.

 

22) Honoring the Fallen Challenge

In honor of the thousands of Helldivers who have fallen for the sake of freedom and in defense of peace, head to an overrun (Difficulty 10+) Cyborg or Illuminate planet and show those abominations of nature exactly how humanity remembers its veterans; complete the operation with a full three stars using only ceremonial equipment and paying your respects to any Helldiver killed in the field of battle. Remember to suit up in your dress blues. Loadout restrictions: M2016 "Constitution" Primary only; ceremonial rifle for a ceremonial occasion! NO Stratagem weapons; backpack items; Heavy Armor; All-Terrain Boots; Laser Aim Module. These items interfere with your ceremonial attire! Bonus points for dressing in Ceremonial armor, helmet and cape! Special Parameters: Every time a Helldiver is killed in combat, the remaining Helldivers must give him or her a proper sendoff. With your M2016 Constitution, all three Helldivers must perform a 21-gun salute (Fire, reload, fire, reload, fire, reload -simultaneously) before they are able to reinforce the downed man. 

 

23) Corpuz Space Program Challenge

Some Helldivers survive in harsh, hostile environments by utilizing stealth and discretion, avoiding contact until necessary. Some do it through superior firepower and sheer force, standing face-to-face with anything in their path. And some survive by leaping into the air at the first sign of danger, leaving the bitter taste of rocket fuel and smoke behind them as they soar through the skies, overtop of allies and enemies alike. This challenge is dedicated to those such Helldivers, who use the LIFT-850 jump pack as their lifeline - such as Admiral Kimcorpuz. Loadout restrictions:  Any primary weapon (bonus points for using only a pistol, John Wick style) Only Red stratagems and ammunition drops LIFT-850 Jump Packs mandatory (obviously!) Special Parameters: The only way Helldivers are allowed to move is via jumps from their LIFT-850. No player is allowed to move around by walking (or crawling, if downed) with one exception: Helldivers killed in action and reinforced may walk directly back to their jump packs after being called in, at which point the no-move rule applies once again. Have fun trying to land in the shuttle door!

 

24. Survivor Training Challenge

These survivors want to learn how to defend themselves on the battlefield. Find a group of survivors, activate them then complete every objective with survivors following you before dropping them off at the base.
Restrictions: no distractor beacons. For added difficulty no stun weapons, stun mines, stun grenades, healing items, static fields, or fire walls.

 

25. Ride2Hell Challenge

Using only Vehicle Stratagems, a team of 4 to complete a Helldive or Boss Level.

No use of primary, secondary weapons, but grenades are allowed.

Here is one challenge that I have enjoyed probably the most in the past, I was just messaging with this challenge with deadlyangel666 in PSN, so: Every diver takes only Resupply Packs meaning that antitank is limited to eight per diver and perk is Precision Call-In so it takes only two secs to land. Every diver also takes the same primary, Pistols allowed. I have done usually with the Railgun so it’s easier to hit with the Resupply. This challenge was even more fun before the SMG nerf when every diver took Defenders and was holding Behemoths or Warlords still in one place. But I think that Precision Call-In just wasn’t available at that time and everyone was using cardio or something. I don’t have name for this challenge so wilier you can be creative if you want to add this to your list.

New Challenge: It's raining Hell, hallelujah!

 

Requirement: Complete a Hell Dive without firing any shots. You may only use Stratagems to handle all situations. Zero shots fired for all team members at mission completion.

 

Yes like the trophy condition many of us probably got by taking out an Enemy Master using nothing but Thunderer or joining late on a mission and just boarding the shuttle and other such ways, but never as a full Hell Dive mission from start to end with whole team never firing a shot.

 

This is something I went through a stint of trying with ran-red on Steam, but never completed full mission and then forgot about it. Easily the hardest challenge scenario I have attempted to date.

 

The video below is from one of our attempts where we got to extraction and then perished. It only includes the three Capture objectives. It can be done, but it isn't going to be easy, and it will take some persistence. Good luck.

One Hammer called in at planet fall and still driveable as the shuttle extracts us, (probably because i wasn't driving). 

3 star, 2 player, 1 bike Helldive against bugs.
