I hope there is no lag, like there was in GH 2 when you played on an HDTV.

That's what the Calibrate Lag option was for.  Came in quite handy, too.

most of the reasons here posted are moronic and not even necessary.

if you play video games for the "graphics", you have a real problem. play games for fun! not trophies or graphics. good graphics are nice, but it does not even make .1 % of the game.

i still play guitar hero 3 and i dont see a valid reason for getting a more recent GH game. they lack more and more with each guitar hero after GH 3. thats why i love GH3, because it is the best in the franchise
