You know, this whole thing about "they would totally like make so much totally like totally money if they totally like re-totally-made Game X totally for the P-totally-S-totally 3... totally". Here's the thing guys, it's stil an EIGHT YEAR OLD GAME. Everyone has already played it, and nobody is going to pay $60 for a game that old. I know it's easy to get emotional and say "I'd pay a hundred bucks for it", would you though? God of War is the exception. Yes it sold two million copies, but if you look at the sales numbers, no other HD collection has even come close. The one thing they have going for them is that they sell well over time. Still, it's simple economics. Ten dollars for a download doesn't leave you a huge profit margin. Another thing is that they want you to buy Gran Theft Auto V, and if you're playing a hi def San Andreas, then that's time and money you could have spent playng a new game, not an eight year old one.
Sure it would be good for posterity, and if you guys really want to see a hi def San Andreas, then has anyone even bothered to head over to RockStar's website and email them?
