I'm excited for it. I plan on doing first some of the single-player missions then heading straight to try out MP. I really hope they improve a lot of the mechanics.

Once I try out the MP and Singleplayer, I will decide whether or not to invest time on the platinum. If I truly enjoy both, then I will try to get the platinum.

I'm most likely gonna do some free roam exploring right off the bat, visiting some of the landmarks and checking out the different vehicles that are available from the start (in case the entire map isn't open from the beginning). I'm sure it won't be, but it would be cool if it is. If it is, I hope it is like SR2 - have the entire map grayed out from the start and then the map and all the names become visible as you venture into new areas.

They actually revealed the map will be 100% available from the start, but yeah it's gonna be awesome. Tons of cars and from the trailers, seems to look a lot more realistic, they also seem to have brought back some fun aspects that were excluded in GTA4.

I thought I'd read that somewhere lol. In that case, I still hope it's gonna be like SR2 where the whole map is open from the start, but is grayed out (except for the area you start in) so that when you pull up the map, all you can see is the area outlines and roads and stuff, so that the names don't become visible until you reach those areas...kinda like hmmm, what's over here/there? Dang, can't see anything yet 'cause the map isn't visible yet lol.

I've seen screenshots of gta 5 from gamestop.com and overall, it looks frikin' awesome. I would definitely buy this on the first day it comes out. Personally, i don't plan on getting platinum trophies. I would definitely play free roam on MP, so i could join with people and wreck everyone.
