Grand Theft Auto Series

About a year ago, I played through and beat Grand Theft Auto IV, no problems. In anticipation of GTA V, I decided to purchase The Ballad of Gay Tony on the PS store. I have run into a few problems though... Almost EVERY time I play multiplayer the sound will suddenly cut off and all I'll here is a slight buzzing, sometimes in singleplayer, but more so in multiplayer. It also freezes occasionally (Can't go to XMB) and I notice that same audio problem occurring during cutscenes, but soon going away after the cutscene is over. These problems are very annoying as I have many friends I would like to play multiplayer with and I keep running into these problems and I'll have to restart and loading up the game takes quite a while. The game is on a disk and that disk seems to have no scratches as I do take good care of my games.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Which game does the sound get cut off? I had run into that problem before and what I did is I completely uninstalled the game and all its save files (I know it sucks because you'll start all over again) and install it again. Everything went well after that and it never happened again. Hope this helps!

It only happens in The Ballad of Gay Tony, the original is fine, or atleast I haven't run into any problems yet on that game. I'll try re-installing the original game as well I re downloaded the Ballad of Gay Tony and the problem happened again. Thanks for the reply
