I 'm having the same server connection issue with GT5.  There has not been an announcement for scheduled maintenance.

Any feedback would be appreciated.

Gt5 servers just went down, should be temporary but it's unclear yet.

Getting error message 5.1436 upon start and error 2.12 after game loads. Could be regional as some friends are still in game.   Maybe PD is fixing something that's been bugging them Smiley Wink

Oh thank goodness I'm not the only one. After getting errors on both accounts I knew this was not a data issue. I'm on east coast time hopefully servers will be back on soon. Almost my bed timeSmiley Wink Maybe PD is implementing a code to rid lobbies of hacked cars.

What does the error code "S-8002C1FF" indicate? I took some music files from my laptop and added them to my PS3 music files, and they play fine there, but I get this error (and the message "data type not supported") when I try to play songs I downloaded from iTunes in GT5. Songs I imported via CD work alright. The PS3 doesn't see a difference, but GT5 does. Any ideas? Apologies if this has been asked or answered already in the past.

I always use MP3's and make sure they are FBR and not VBR MP3's  ( Fixed Bit Rate not Variable Bit Rate )

Don't know if that is the issue or not.

But all of my MP3's play on GT5.

If you downloaded them from the iTunes store, they are protected files intended to be only playable on the system you bought them for (your computer and your iPod I would imagine) and should not be able to be copyable over to other systems.
