online payouts

7 replies 33 views Edited Feb 8, 2011

i just did a 5 lap race of nurburgring with a room of 14 people, out of those 14 people i finished 2nd and got a whoping 414 credits, is this a bug or what? i have noticed this on several other tracks as well, do they really think they can keep people play when they give 414 credits for a hour worth of racing?

Not a bug, they should have just left online winnings out, cause its crap.

This is what makes me lol @ people who say when they get bored of racing the same offline races they simply go online to continue winning money.

I think the payouts are somewhat determined by where you finish (second is good, no doubt), how many laps you run (not total time invested) and how much contact you make with others.

At Daytona, when guys are bump drafting a lot, the payouts are less than stellar as well.

But yeah, why only 414 credits boggles me.

That being said, if you're not exaggerating about the hour, what care were you running that it took 12 minutes to turn a lap at Nurburgring?

Wow that is low. Earlier today I spent a few hours hosting a Cappuccino room. 5 laps at Autumn Ring Mini with Heavy Damage, 138HP limit. The most players in one race was 4. Winning netted me over 2,000 cr each time & I thought that was bad. But I guess not as bad as what you experienced. But I tell ya what, that was the most fun racing I've done in a LONG time.

the payouts should be increased, for sure, XP too, but you should understand that there is online money be3cause people begged for it... they at least listened... sorta.

I personally couldn't care less about credits. I race for the pure joy of racing. Credits are a nice added bonus, but the race is where my heart is.
