Do the colors chosen on a black skin stay the same for the white skin?

Reason I ask, there have been several times recently where a post with lots of color, or all color, shows up and when I open it its like the Pink Floyd laser light show from the front row. Bright and neon colors on the white background tend to blend and make a wall of color with the text unreadable. May have to go back in black.

I think most people are using the black/dark grey scheme so that's why they are using brighter colors.

interesting dilema

Would you happen to have a snapshot?

I would like to see what you are talking about.

I also use the dark skin.

Yeah I just seen it too...

I was just in the process of doing that but you beat me to it...

The colors stay the same but it is extremely hard to read... I think you would be much happier with the dark skin. easier on the eyes with color text.

Thanks for screenshot btw

Here is the black version since I am bored....

I always use the dark background, that white background is way too hard to read.  Didn't know that so thanks for the thread.

If it ain't broke, I haven't fixed it yet.

switched the thread to white, thought everyone was using black...hopefully that will help for those who like the white one instead of the black one.

Oh my lol,, Thank You, but I didnt post this in your thread because it is not a knock against you at all, more a curiosity in how this forum works.

While a kind gesture, your changing the post now makes the main body of text invisible on the white background lol :-)

No good deed goes unpunished LOL

if you type without specifying a color, it does make it default to the opposite of the background, but if you specify white (like you did to change it back from color) it will be white for everyone.

if you wanted to try it as an experiment, you could go to that thread and copy & paste your text into Notepad.  then delete everything in your post and make sure you're not specifying a color.  then paste the text back in.

should work.  but as NuTTTz said, it's not a knock against you.
