Trophy Help

15 replies 396 views Edited Oct 2, 2012

Ok, So I'm working on the trophy for the nueburgring nordschlief arcade mode with the Nissan GT-R '07. Can I use a GT-R '07 from my favorites, or does it need to be the one in arcade mode? Can't seem to get a time better than 7.37.***. The time needs to be below a 7.28. something. I sure could use some pointers/tips. I'm not used to driving without assists. Thanks.

I have not done this trophy yet, but here goes....

Go to Arcade Mode -> Time Trial -> Nurburgring Nordschleife -> Nissan GT-R. Make sure you use the Arcade version of the car and not your GT Mode version.

Make sure the tires are of the Sports Hard grade.

You are right about only being able to use the arcade version, but I believe it can be tuned, not sure if I remember that for sure.  I had to save my ghost a few times so I had a reference to go by. My last ghost was .017 over the target, thought I might need to buy a new tv after that lap but luckily the controller hit the wall. jk

I feel your pain wastelander as I broke a controller during GT Academy '12. The car can be adjusted for driving options. I haven't seen an engine tuning option. Not sure if turning off assists such as TCS, Skid recovery would help. Not driven too much without them. Thanks for the replies. 1 Thing no one mentioned was transmission choice. Auto/Manual?

I finally got that trophy a couple of weeks ago.  (After spending hours and hours to finally get the Lambo Seasonal, it almost seemed like a pleasant diversion.)  I used a stick and auto transmission.  Everything off except ABS=1.  I did some runs with SRF on.  It seemed to help with the times, but caused me to pick up bad habits such as tail-sliding through corners.

Ok. So I had a time of 7.26.994 and "NO TROPHY"Ahrweiler - Town Square.jpg. Right now I'm not a happy camper. I used sticks, auto trans, TCS 4, ABS 2, and skid recovery.

I hope someone tells me it doesn't have to be the exact time of 7.29.03.  An exact time is unpredictable, let alone impossible.Ahrweiler - Town Square_2.jpg

I haven't done this one, so not sure if this applies.  Seeing that it is a time trial, does it need to be a clean lap?   Was the winning time in white or red?
