I also nominate the 2013 Ford Mustang GT500.. there's no arguement this car needs to be added to GT5 car list ASAP
Not to mention any 2011+ 5.0L Mustang GT, Boss 302/302R/Laguna Seca and even Cobra Jet models to give GT5 players something newer in the Ford Mustang camp than the old 2007 Mustang GT.
If you take the time to read the terms of nomination, you'd see that not following the rules, gets you an instant DQ. Feel free to either nominate properly, or don't..................
I can't believe the FR500C--the "official" racing ver. of the '05 Mustang GT--got no love, no nomination for the Parking Lot. But since people seem to want a version of the newer model, perhaps a formatted nomination would yield better results, no? So....
Model: Mustang, Boss 302R/302S, 2012 -
Series: Grand-Am, World Challenge, NASA, etc.
Country: Canada (hey, that's what the w'site says)
Significance: Built by Ford to capitalize on the success of the FR500C "Boy Racer" (winner of 2005/2008/2009 Grand-Am Championships), this model continues the practice of offering factory-built racecars for buyers. AFAIK, the 302R is built specifically for Grand-Am series competition; the Boss 302S is built for other race series, with some minor differences in specifications. According to the Ford Racing website, the 302S boasts the following:
"Since reintroduction in 2011 the Boss 302S has won the following accolades:
- World Challenge GTS Manufacturers Championship
- World Challenge GTS Driver Championship
- World Challenge GTS Team Championship
- NASA American Iron ChampionshipNASA ST2 Championship
- In 2011 the Boss 302S tied the record set in 1970 for race wins by the same Mustang driver in a professional production based series at 5"
Driving Fun Factor: Again, this would allow a chance to have an updated version of an American favorite, in official competition-spec. The cars have proven race pedigree; and who wouldn't want to see a recreation of wheel to wheel battles between Detroit's "Big 3," with the Camaro RM and Challenger TC?
Excellent nomination reddsun1. (...as always it seems...)
If that's not enough to let people see the way to do it proper vs the previous post...
I see many visits to the optometrist in many futures...
I'm going to pretend I'm Bruce Willis (..but with hair..) and listen when the kid says "I see reddsun1 people..."
...and imagine it applying to all future posters in this thread...
(...hey SWERV, thanks for carrying this banner for Oz BTW. It is much appreciated...)
Here is the latest update of the Parking Lot and Winners Circle

I think the new bugatti Veyron GSV
Importance to game: It is an especial edtition of bugatti veyron and I think many gamers are disappointed that the one that already is in the game is not premium so it would be great if this was premium.
Well, at least they tried to use the requested format...
ed: Don't forget guys, you've gotta make the sale. Try to give objective and/or compelling backup for your nomination. Does it have provenance? Has it had some sort of impact on car culture, or in motorsport anywhere? Is it the sort of car that people identify with and want, regardless of nationality/language/culture differences? If people just keep posting cause-it's-cool-duh-huh, or cause-it-needs-to-be-premium nominations, it will just be that much more likely to get a *rolleyes* and a "next!" from the reader...
Model: WTCC Cruze
Series: World Touring Car Championship
History: This car has dominated the WTCC for a couple years now and would be an awesome addition to the game. Plus driving a fwd racecar is a unique experience.
Make: DeLorean Motor Company of Texas (DMC)
Model: DMC-EV 2013
History: I believe we have all seen the movie "Back To The Future". Although the original DeLorean was a commercial flop with a Toyota 130HP engine, being extremely heavy, and having an owner who dealt in some shady business, the new DeLorean is everything the original should of been, wrapped in the same old shell we all know and love. the 250HP + fully electric 4WD DeLorean DMC-EV will give the performance we want, with styling we all know and love.
