I'd be interested in why you think they deserve to be included...
What makes them so special, what history or relevance do they have...?
What significant contribution did they make...?
What were they raced in and how...?
They're nice cars and all, but the world is full of nice cars.
What makes these three so special other than they be your favorites...?
Time to get strict. There will be some leniency for nominations prior to this post. However, going forward, any nomination that that does not follow the format of the sample post, click here to see it, will definitely not be added to the voting process. 1. 70 mercury cougar eliminator
2. 69 grand prix model sj
3. 71 nova ss
All three of these cars are old historic classic cars that should be put in the game here is more information
the first one 70 mercury cougar eliminator is a nice car there were only 385 made in the USA and only 75 remain here the rest are in a junk yard my dad owns one and it is fully original and almost fully restored. They only made the eliminator 2 years 69 and 70 the 70 was the fastest and voted the best looking this cougar is class. I also noticed that you only have one mercury car in grand turismo this will be a second car in that category giving more options. Please consider this car for the game.
Manufacturer: mercury cougar
made in USA
Engine: 351 Cheveland Big block
10 second car
3 speed automatic
registered for 120 but will go faster
For more information
the second car 69 grand prix model sj this car defines classic it was raced in the Indy 500 in 1969 it weights a lot but will still get up and go it floats like a Cadillac smooth you can't fill anything but the comfortable seat in this car it handles great but when you hit the gas in this car its like a rocket sled on rails. It took a big hemi to out run this car most people underestimate this car and are shocked when they are out ran by it. The model sj is the fastest model the grand prix makes 390 horsepower while as smooth as a Cadillac the car made its self a name for that they call this car "A tiger in a tux"
most people can't even open the door on this car there is a button on the outside of the car when you push it a door handle pops out and then you can open the door when you shut the door the handle goes back inside the door. The 69 grand prix has never been on a game and grand turismo doesn't have a grand prix give the grand prix what it deserves and put it in the game.
manufacture: grand prix
made in Europe
Engine 400 small block
raced in Indy 500
10 second car
registered for 160 and it will do it
Go here for more information
Finally the 1971 Nova ss my favorite car mostly raced in 1/4 mile tracks it has a 350 small block my dad had one he would drop the hammer on it and wouldn't go anywhere the back tires were spinning and rubber burning he was only going 2 MPH but the speedometer said 70 then he would double clutch it and hit second the car would come up on a wheele and take off at 90 before you could blink then he would hit 3rd and the front end would come down slowly when all four wheels were on the ground at about 125 MPH but he would never hit 4th because he thought 125 was fast enough. He wreaked the car in 1 week he flipped end over end about 20 times almost hit a 500 gallon propane tank that was filled up the day before the only thing that saved him was his shifter. He still has that shifter today that is the only thing left of the car I plan to buy me a 71 nova ss with a 4 speed and put that same shifter in it so I can always ride with a piece of my dad in my car. Off that subject no racing game has a 71 nova ss in there game you would be the first you also don't have any novas in your game.
Manufacturer: Chevy nova
made in USA
Engine: 350 small block
10 second car
registers for 120 but will go faster
2007 RUF CTR3
Since Porsche is not available this beauty would be a nice addition.......
This is one car on the Legacy list, but it was one of the few I hoped would get nominated regardless.
This is one mean monster of a car, and definitely one I'd really want to (try to) drive.
I can tell you one thing, should it make an appearance in the game...
It's going out for a romp on the Green Hell within 10 minutes of having it.
Manufacturer: Aston Martin Racing
Car: Aston Martin DBR9 #58 '05
Country: United Kingdom
"The DBR9 won the Sebring 12 Hours for its LMGT1 category in 2005, but came third in Le Mans 24 Hour behind arch-rivals Corvette Racing due to fuel problems."
Stig made a 1:08.6 (faster than the Caparo T1) in the Top Gear Track with it, it's an awesome looking car and I want it, and more than that i want to try beating stig's time with it.

Car: M1 1978
The only production BMW with a mid engine layout, the BMW M1 was a homolgation car for FIA Group 5 racing. Various production and homolgation problems kept it from racing in Group 5, but a Procar series was set up to allow the car to race anyway. This nomination is for the street version.
Toyota Lola B12/60 2012
Le Mans World Endurance Series-LMP1 #12 & #13
Workshop located in the United Kingdom
Rebellion Racing Team located in Switzerland
The game is lacking current LMP cars. It is just about the fastest non-diesel right cow in Le Mans racing. It was the closest thing to competition given to the Audi R18's so far in 2012. It also looks stunning and I'm sure would be fun to drive around any track on GT5. It can be an exciting add-on to the game that can bring back some interest in the game.
