It appears that in the migration several worthy posts did not make it. The cars are still on the list, but if possible, it would be appreciated if the following folks could re-post these nominations with pictures and all. Many thanks.
audioinstaller: CTS-V
DaletonaDave: Monte Carlo
gar529: Eagle i-Thrust
Gojet-64: TS030 Hybrid (and he did, that was quick!)
Also pictures have disappeared from the following posts. If the author could re-import the pictures that would be appreciated.
reju: Audis and 250GT
Unforgiven2488: Impala
maxcoolnascar: Mustang GT
Thank you.

It turns out one of my suggestions was lost in the migration, so I'll have to re-post it.
Car:
Toyota
TS030 Hybrid 2012
Le Mans Prototype (LMP1)
Japan
Specs:
Naturally aspirated Petrol V8 (90° V-angle)
6-speed sequential gearbox
KERS
Charges super-capacitor
Releases extra energy to rear wheels (allows power boost at any speed)
Full list of specifications (Could not find info on power and weight)
History:
As Toyota's first Le Mans Prototype in over a decade, this car marks a major milestone in Toyota Racing. With new regulations in the 2012 Le Mans rules, this car is features a hybrid system. This hybrid system charges super-capacitors under braking using KERS, and releases this energy in the form of bursts of extra power.
By releasing the extra power through the rear wheels, the extra power can be released at any speed (whereas extra power released through the front wheels is only allowed at speeds above 120 km/h, as with the Audi R18 e-tron). This also means that the TS030 can exit the pits silently on electric power, and start the petrol engine while driving down pit road, rather than waiting for the engine to start before exiting the pit box.
In qualifying, the The two Toyota TS030s gave Audi a run for their money, placing 3rd and 5th on the starting grid. They proved competitive in the race as well, and overtook Audi for the lead of the race.
Unfortunately, a collision with a GT car caused a heavy crash with the #8 TS030. After the hour-long safety car period, the #7 TS030 was involved with another collision with a slower car, leading to mechanical problems, and eventually a retirement from the race.
The TS030 will continue to race throughout the Le Mans Endurance Series, hopefully scoring one or two wins before season end.

Manufacture: Porsche
Car: 944 turbo
This car, which was an FR engined Porsche was a very successful and very Aestheically pleasing car. It won many races.
Also there are other Porsches also worth noting.

We all would love Porsche in the game( Many a Dead Horse has been beat over this issue). The fact remains that as of now, PD still does not have the licensing to add ANY Porsches. So we won't have them anytime soon. We can, however, wish and hope. Remember though, If wishes were horses, then beggars would ride................
