Vaughn Gittin Jr. Monster Energy Mustang GT

2008 - present

Drifting or Road Racing

Vaughn Gittin Jr. the most well know drifting driver in the US, who has drifted for Falken Tire and now Monster Energy. The Mustang he drives is from a long line race car that have carried the Mustang Logo to Victory Lane in Trans Am, and now Nascar,

This car would be a great addition to the game since there are Drift Trails in the game. The car would be at home drifting or being used for general racing as well.

If your going to picture his rides, atleast pick one of the sexier ones... http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2010/11/leadrtr-x-mustang-sema.jpghttp://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2011/04/1969-mustang-rtr-x.jpg

This is his custom built Mustang RTR concept... essentially a custom GT500 with a retro body and personally, IMHO looks way better than an offset wheel, stock looking mustang, other than its paint.

Ok GT  tech guys and girls why show us that video of the 2013 Acura NSX on a test track we now own., with out bringing to car to the game as well. If they can make to car for that video clip, then they can make it for the game. An now there's a convertible and still this car has not made it to our games. Tony Stark has one and I want one to!!!

Manufacturer: NISSAN

Car: Nissan Skyline RS Super Silhouette Formula -

Year: Early 1980s

Heritage: Participated in the Fuji Super Silhouette Series; an FIA Group 5 Sports Car Series.

An iconic car in it's own right; the 'Iron Mask' was notorious for belching out large plumes of fire from it's exhaust. This Skyline heralded the the return of the famous 'GT-R' badge for Nissan. It was also included as a game car in Gran Turismo 2. Would love to see it again; especially with the current game physics.

Please to inform you to follow the nomination guidelines in the OP.

Any nomination NOT submitted according to the guidelines will NOT be considered in the voting process.

Also, this is not a discussion type thread. Separate voting threads will be created as this process moves forward where discussions, banter and sexy(er) car pics can be posted at will. (...though why you want to put pictures all over will is beyond us...)

As this is a huge endeavor monitored by by a very few, we ask very, very nicely that only nominations in the proper format be posted in this thread so we can maintain, keep track and get your information to PD as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Thank you all for your cooperation in helping Oz & MastrGT in their effort to let PD know what cars you all want to see in your game, whether it be GT5 DLC or the upcoming GT6.

Just a note to indicate that cars that were included in the previous wish list are eligible for future voting but they need to be re-nominated in this thread. So if you had any special favorites on that list please nominate them here.

Manufacturer: Cisitalia (Italy)

Model: 202 GT, plus variations

Year: 1946-1952

Heritage: this is the first modern sports car, copied by many manufacturers, and the first modern body style design

One year after WW II ended in Europe, Piero Dusio, a wealthy Italian businessman, commissioned Pinin Farina to make a new two-seater car, the Cisitalia 202 GT. The light-weight aluminum shell, with little chrome on it, was hand-crafted over wooden forms into an aerodynamic shape that allowed it to reach relatively high speeds for such a small, 50 HP, 1100cc flat-4 engine. A FIAT chassis was given to Pinin Farina, for running gear.

This car broke the tradition of having a "boxed" design - a box for the engine, another for the passengers, with lights and mirrors stuck onto the different boxes, as well. Shapes seamlessly flowed into each other, from one end of the car to the other. The Cisitalia 202 is considered the start of modern car styling and is the first example of a Berlinetta, the protype of the modern sports car. This shape was copied by many other car manufacturers after it was warmly received at the Villa d'Este Gold Cup show in Como, Italy, and the Paris Auto Show, in 1947. Look for its influence in the Porsche 356, Lancia Aurelia B20, Aston Martin DB2, Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint and many Ferraris and Maseratis.

There are two main variations on the basic car, the 202 MM, and the 202 SMM (Spider Mille Miglia) race car version; in 1952, the 160 HP Cisitalia 202D varient was released. About 170 GT copies were made.

The New York Museum of Modern Art highlighted this spectacular car, along with 7 other significant automobiles, in its first permanent exhibit on automobile design, "Eight Automobiles", in 1951.

This beautiful car is also featured at Sculpture In Motion: Masterpieces Of Italian Design which opened February 25, 2012, and will run through February 3, 2013 at the Petersen Museum, in L.A.

We're probably going to get that Nissan before anything else.

Just a trend I've noticed with PD's slight bias towards Nissan...

Gojet-64 is now Encvell. (Gojet-64 is now only used for older games and Vita)

I think Nissan has been a devoted partner and should receive a lot more praise for their willingness to grant PD seemingly unlimited access to not only their catalogue of cars, but the inner workings of their r&d department and motorsports divisions.
