Update for recent Time Trial Results, stats-wise:

Special GT-R Spec V (Eifel Circuit 105-A)

North American Winner, Turismo-Lester.  Congrats, and great job representin' the Mapple Leaf!

2nd was also a canadian named lator-illa

The top 10 consisted of seven North americans!  70%!

And the icing on the cake!  78% of the top 250 were north americans!

Great job.  I'm not sure why this one has such a huge presense from the likes of us... maybe it has something to do with the fact that there was a prize?  Do we really like the GT-R more than Japanese?  I doubt it.

There's probably some sociological significance to all of this, but I"m not sure what it is!

Best turnout ever!

Square, triangle, circle,... EX!

I hope you realized that this TT had separate leaderboards for EU and NA regions. The results are skewed because the NA region was mainly represented by US, Canada, Brazil and Mexico. If you take EU times into account, the results will resemble the other TT statistics in terms of perecentages unfortunately.

Here are the leaderboards:

EU/PAL Leaderboard http://eu.gran-turismo.com/au/products/gt5/event/d38083.html

NA/NTSC Leaderboard http://us.gran-turismo.com/us/products/gt5/event/d6118.html

Obligatory mention of tire wear just to derail this thread.

Impressive. Way to go clacksman. I love that car.

Thanks.  It's super weird at the best of times, even moreso cut down to 400pp, but quite a car nonetheless.

edit: I stuck the tune in GTdata

ok exX and MTA, looks like its gonna be a close one again lol. Autumn ring trial lap set at 44.197, exX is at 45.148. Lets see what ya got MTA. Gonna work at it some more I know I can shave it down to a 43. something. The rally TT, not sure how close thats gonna be, your both prolly gonna smash me.

I put in about 20 laps yesterday and I did a 45.544. I have room for improvement (don't we all). Most of those laps I spent trying to find the best line (especially in those multi turn / apex corners). I am only really good on 3 or 4 tracks right now, I know about 3 others (that I'm not as fast on yet) and the others I'm learning as I progress as a driver. This is one of those "I gotta learn it" tracks for me.

As far as the Rally TT...that's a long track (over 3.5 miles). Although I have been driving it, I keep on hitting a bank or something that will disqualify my lap. Although I do find it fun to drive, I doubt if I will get close on that one...but you never know.

wow... that certainly would explain it.  I had not realized that, since when you go to the official website only one list is shown.  why would this be done differently than other TTs?

I second the thanks.  I'm gonna try it if I feel okay tonight.

I rolled my foot over bad and hurt my left ankle new year's early morning.  My stupid friend has broken and weathered brick steps on his house and I forgot about their condition as I was leaving after his party.  well, he's more of a friend of a friend, and I'm really PO'd.  I'm not the sueing type, but this is something they should have had fixed after ANOTHER person has already had the same problem there!

Got it x-ray'd yesterday and nothing's broken.  It does feel a lot better today, so we'll see how the two foot pedaling works for me.  Wish me luck
